Η μουσουλμανική μειονότητα της Θράκης ζητά το δικό της πανεπιστήμιο, «απαιτώντας» την αντικατάσταση της Ειδικής Παιδαγωγικής Ακαδημίας Θεσσαλονίκης από ένα πανεπιστήμιο μόνο για μουσουλμάνους.
Η ελληνική ακαδημαϊκή κοινότητα της Θράκης αντιδρά έντονα και η ελληνική Πολιτεία φαίνεται να παρακολουθεί αμήχανη τις εξελίξεις. Κεντρικό πρόσωπο στη διαμάχη, η ειδική γραμματέας του υπουργείου Παιδείας κυρία Θάλεια Δραγώνα. Οι αποκαλύψεις του «ΘΕΜΑτος» για την κυρία Δραγώνα και τη στάση που τήρησε κατά τη διάρκεια ημερίδας στη Θράκη φαίνεται πως άνοιξαν για τα καλά τον ασκό του Αιόλου, προκαλώντας αναβρασμό στις τάξεις των εκπαιδευτικών και έντονο προβληματισμό στα υψηλόβαθμα στελέχη του υπουργείου Παιδείας.
Ηδη, σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες από τα κεντρικά του υπουργείου, η κυβερνητική αξιωματούχος βρίσκεται σε δύσκολη θέση, αφού φέρεται να αντιμετωπίζεται με έντονη δυσπιστία από τους προϊσταμένους της.
Μάλιστα ορισμένοι εξαπολύουν ξεκάθαρες αιχμές εναντίον της κυρίας Δραγώνα, κατηγορώντας τη για αναποφασιστικότητα και ακαταλληλότητα στη λήψη αποφάσεων, και στη διαχείριση κρίσεων. Ο έντονος προβληματισμός για τους χειρισμούς της εκφράζεται και από στελέχη της κυβέρνησης, ενώ, σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες, δεν αποκλείεται να υπάρξει άμεσα έντονη παρουσία του υπουργείου Παιδείας στην περιοχή της Θράκης.
Η αυτοαποκαλούμενη «Συμβουλευτική Επιτροπή της Τουρκικής Μειονότητας της Δυτικής Θράκης» έχει ζητήσει εδώ και καιρό να αντικατασταθεί η Ειδική Παιδαγωγική Ακαδημία Θεσσαλονίκης, στην οποία εισάγονται ύστερα από εξετάσεις αποκλειστικά μουσουλμάνοι-μέλη της μειονότητας της Θράκης, από μια παιδαγωγική σχολή πανεπιστημιακού επιπέδου τετραετούς φοίτησης, όπου θα εκπαιδεύονται μόνο νέοι που θέλουν να γίνουν δάσκαλοι στα μειονοτικά σχολεία. Σε όλη αυτή την κίνηση οι Ελληνες πανεπιστημιακοί έχουν ανακαλύψει κρυφά κίνητρα από τους υποκινητές της.
«Κάποιοι θέλουν να ελέγχουν την όλη διαδικασία, δηλαδή την παραγωγή δασκάλων, και στη συνέχεια την εκπαιδευτική διαδικασία στα μειονοτικά σχολεία, την επιμόρφωση αλλά και τους διορισμούς», καταγγέλλει στο «ΘΕΜΑ» ο ιστορικός αναλυτής κ. Νεκτάριος Δαπέργολας, υπογραμμίζοντας πως δεν υπάρχει λόγος να δημιουργηθεί κάποιο ανάλογο πανεπιστήμιο.
Η αποκαλούμενη «Ευρωπαϊκή Ομοσπονδία Τούρκων Δυτικής Θράκης» προσπάθησε να αντιδράσει. Σε ανακοίνωσή της η ομοσπονδία εξέφρασε τη δυσαρέσκειά της για την απάντηση που πήρε από την κυρία Δραγώνα, η οποία μετά τον σάλο που δημιουργήθηκε πέταξε το μπαλάκι στους ανωτέρους της, ξεκαθαρίζοντας ότι η τελική απόφαση θα παρθεί από το υπουργείο Παιδείας.
